Bug fixes
. When submitting a receipt, sometimes your pending earnings info wouldn’t show the correct pending offers and cash back amount as we process your receipt. This was super confusing and frustrating for so many of you, so we’re happy to announce this is now fixed!
. Corrected a rogue error message, a push notification deep link for a bonus that took you to somewhere that was definitely not a bonus, and a host of clean-up tasks in back-end land.

Bug fixes
. We un-truncated retailer names in the Pay with Ibotta list view, so that whole names show on smaller devices. In related news: you can now filter Pay with Ibotta retailers!
. Google Pay was showing up on devices that didn’t actually support Google Pay. That was confusing and misleading, so we fixed that.
. Clearing a recent search term now always removes that term from the recent search list, so that ONE time you were looking for “oreos” doesn’t need to taunt you forever.

What’s new
. Need to get someone a gift card? Now you can using Pay with Ibotta! Choose a Pay with Ibotta retailer your friend will love and use the keypad to enter the amount of the gift card you want to buy. Choose “Buy as gift,” then send to your friend via email or text. You’ll earn cash back on the amount of the gift card, and your friend will get a handy dandy link to use their digital gift card. What’s new

When searching for something in the app-like “coffee”-that could be a product OR a brand OR an in-store offer OR an online offer, you were shown a list of search results was long and difficult to sort through and made finding what you need kind of a bummer. . There are multiple ways to earn cash back at Walmart-and it can get confusing-so we wanted to give you a better, simplified experience to make this easier than ever. Now the Walmart page shows 2 tabs. 1) Before you shop, browse the latest offers on the left tab. 2) When you’re ready to pay at the store, use Pay with Ibotta on the right tab to pay to get 1% cash back on the whole purchase. Then, to double-dip in cash back, upload your receipt to *also* earn on any qualifying offers.

Did you know you can scan a product’s barcode at the store to see if it matches an offer in the app? Yes? OK, great. Did you know if you scan a barcode and we don’t have an offer for it, we’ll suggest related products that DO have offers? Knew that too? Look at you go. Well, none of this is new, but we *did* improve our ability to suggest better, more relevant offers when scanning barcodes. What does that mean for you? You’ll get more cash back more often, and get stuck with fewer dead-ends.
